Cinnamon Crisps

Cinnamon Crisps

You have to know your audience when you cooking

Before they go into the oven

Too bad this blog doesn't have "smell-o-vision"
You would be drooling

This could be yours, tomorrow morning, for breakfast

Ingredients

2 small tubes refrigerator buttermilk biscuits OR 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 Cup pancake syrup
1/3 Cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
1/4 Cup chopped pecans, optional
1/4 Cup chopped almonds, optional

Stuff you will need

Cookie sheet
Parchment Paper
2 x mixing bowls

Directions

Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.  This stuff is GREAT!  Makes clean up so much easier.

Combine the melted butter and syrup in a small bowl and set aside.

In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if desired).

Lay out the biscuits and smash it down.  Make is as wide as you can.

Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top. Drizzle the syrup on top of that.

Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet, then onto a serving platter and enjoy!

Comments and suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
