Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Tonya and I went to a "brand name" restaurant and she ordered "Chicken & Noodles with Alfredo Sauce".  I can't remember the price.  But this was her "go to" meal when ever we went to this restaurant.  She would order it because it was so delicious.

I decided that I would try to make it.

She will NEVER order this again at a restaurant.  She said that my version is SO much better.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 cups milk
6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Stuff you will need

Flat noodles
Pot to cook your flat noodles
Cut up Chicken
Sauce pan
Wire whisk
White wine to be served with supper

Directions

Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat.

Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth.

Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps.

Stir in Parmesan and pepper.

Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency.

Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long.

Toss with hot pasta and cut up chicken to serve.

Comments and suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
