Grape Jelly Meatballs

This is one of those recipes that people find very hard to believe.  But these meatballs are incredible and VERY tasty.  There is no hint of the grape jelly sweetness after is all cooked.

Ingredients

1 (32 ounce) jar grape jelly
2 (12 ounce) bottles tomato-based chili sauce (such as Heinz®)
1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
3 (5 pound) bags frozen cocktail-size meatballs

Stuff you will need

Crock Pot
Sauce pan
Stirring spoon

Directions

Combine grape jelly, chili sauce, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over medium-high heat; cook until warm, 5 to 10 minutes.

Place meatballs in a slow cooker and top with grape jelly mixture.

Cook on Low for 3 to 4 hours.

These can be served at parties.  Arrange them on a tray with toothpicks.  Or serve the meatballs on a bed of rice with your favorite veggies on the side.

Comments and suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
