Grilled Cheese with Mayonnaise

So last night was Halloween.  I worked a little later than normal, so that meant that Tonya gave out the treats.

Normally we sit on the front deck and give out the treats.  So by the time I got home, she was chilled and wanted to have some grilled cheese and tomatoe soup.

I made hers with butter.  But I've heard of people making their grilled cheese with mayo.  So not to be outdone, I made hers the "regular" way and made mine with mayo.

The results were fantastic!

Ingredients

4 slices of bread
2 slices of cheese
2 to 3 tablespoons of Mayonnaise

Stuff you will need

Frying pan
Spatula
Knife to spread the mayo

Directions

Turn the stove to medium heat and put the frying pan on to heat up.

Spread the mayo on the outside of the bread and put it on the frying pan, mayo side down.  Put a slice of cheese and then top with another slice of bread, with mayo facing up.

When you flip the sandwich, the mayo will fry up.

Keep flipping every minute.  Keep an eye on it as it will burn.
If you use Mayo or butter, the results seems to be the same for cooking time.  Once it is golden brown, plate it up.  You can serve your grilled cheese with ketchup on the side or with a bowl of tomatoe soup.

Comments and suggestions are ALWAYS welcome.
