Cinnamon Crisps
You have to know your audience when you cooking
Before they go into the oven
Too bad this blog doesn't have "smell-o-vision"
You would be drooling
This could be yours, tomorrow morning, for breakfast
Ingredients
2 small tubes
refrigerator buttermilk biscuits OR 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk
biscuits
3 Tbsp.
butter, melted
1/2 Cup pancake
syrup
1/3 Cup packed
light brown sugar
1/2 Tsp. cinnamon
1/4 Cup chopped
pecans, optional
1/4 Cup chopped
almonds, optional
Stuff you will need
Cookie sheet
Parchment Paper
2 x mixing bowls
Directions
Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper. This stuff is GREAT! Makes clean up so much easier.
Combine the melted butter and syrup in a small bowl
and set aside.
In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if
desired).
Lay out the biscuits and smash it down. Make is as wide as you can.
Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top. Drizzle the syrup on top of that.
Bake at 375
degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1
minute on the cookie sheet, then onto a serving platter and enjoy!
