I do like the taste of McDonald's stuff, but then soon afterwards... I feel poorly.
This recipe the chicken is oven baked and should get rid of that "blah" feeling.
Ingredients
Chicken patty
2 chicken breasts
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup cornflakes or panko
1 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cooking oil to spray on patty
Sauce
1 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp onion powder
Bun
2 burger buns, toasted
Lettuce, shredded
Bake time
450 F for 10 minutes
Stuff you will need
Blender or food processor
Oven
Toaster or pan
Cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
Spatula
Directions
Put your chicken breasts and spices into the blender and blend till it is a paste.
Put some oil on your hands and form two patties.
Cover the patties with the bread crumbs.
Spray some oil on each patty.
Bake 450 F for 10 minutes
Toast your hamburger buns and sauce both top and bottom of the bun.
Start with burger bun bottom, chicken patty, lettuce, burger bun top (with sauce).
Serve while hot.
No "blah" feeling afterwards.
