Potatoes Potatoes Potatoes


1. Crispy Potato Wedges

Ingredients
 • 4 large potatoes
 • 2 tbsp olive oil
 • 1 tsp garlic powder
 • 1 tsp paprika
 • 1/2 tsp onion powder
 • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
 2. Wash potatoes and cut into wedges.
 3. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
 4. Toss potato wedges until well coated.
 5. Spread on a baking tray in a single layer.
 6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

2. Loaded Potato Skins

Ingredients
 • 4 large potatoes
 • 1 cup shredded cheese
 • 1/4 cup cooked bacon (chopped)
 • 1/4 cup sour cream
 • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
 • Salt to taste

Instructions
 1. Bake whole potatoes at 200°C (400°F) for 45–50 minutes until tender.
 2. Cut potatoes in half and scoop out some flesh.
 3. Sprinkle cheese and bacon over potato skins.
 4. Bake again for 10 minutes until cheese melts.
 5. Top with sour cream and green onions before serving.

3. Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
 • 4 large potatoes
 • 1/4 cup milk
 • 3 tbsp butter
 • 2 tbsp sour cream
 • Salt and black pepper

Instructions
 1. Peel and cut potatoes into chunks.
 2. Boil in salted water for 15–20 minutes until soft.
 3. Drain water and mash potatoes.
 4. Add butter, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
 5. Mash until smooth and creamy. Serve hot.

4. Potato Pancakes

Ingredients
 • 3 cups grated potatoes
 • 1/4 cup flour
 • 2 eggs
 • 2 tbsp chopped onion
 • Salt and pepper
 • Oil for frying

Instructions
 1. Squeeze excess water from grated potatoes.
 2. Mix potatoes with flour, eggs, onion, salt, and pepper.
 3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
 4. Spoon mixture into pan and flatten slightly.
 5. Fry for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.

5. Garlic Parmesan Fries

Ingredients
 • 4 large potatoes
 • 2 tbsp olive oil
 • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
 • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
 • Salt to taste

Instructions
 1. Cut potatoes into thin fries.
 2. Toss with olive oil, garlic, and salt.
 3. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 30–35 minutes until crispy.
 4. Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan and parsley.
 5. Serve immediately.

6. Potato Curry

Ingredients
 • 4 large potatoes (cubed)
 • 1 large onion (chopped)
 • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
 • 1 cup peas
 • 2 tsp curry powder
 • 1/2 tsp turmeric
 • Salt to taste
 • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions
 1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden.
 2. Add tomatoes, curry powder, turmeric, and salt. Cook until soft.
 3. Add potatoes and peas, mix well.
 4. Add 1 cup water, cover, and cook for 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
 5. Serve hot with rice or bread.
