French Fry Potato Puffs


If you got some time, this might be your go to.

Ingredients 

3 Russet Potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 teaspoon celtic salt
3 Tbsp cornstarch 

Stuff you will need 

Cutting board 
Sharp knife 
Cooking pot
Colander 
Mixing bowl 
Fork
Potato ricer
Deep fat fryer
Slotted spoon
Heat resistant plate lined with paper towel

Directions 

Peel and dice your potatoes. Add them to a pot of water and cook the potatoes till soft.

Drain your potatoes in the colander. 

Using your potato ricer, pulverize those potatoes.  Add salt and cornstarch. Mix mix mix till you form a dough.

Transfer your dough to the cutting board and cut into 4 sections.


Sprinkle and dust the cutting board with more cornstarch.  Take one of your dough sections and roll it into a tube.

Cut the tube.  About two finger width.


Using a fork, press down on each piece.


Make sure your cooking oil is hot and cook in batches.


Transfer the Potato Puffs to a heat resistant plate lined with paper towel. 

Serve with ketchup or mayonnaise (NOT Miracle Whip).
