Here is a kitchen hack that is really useful.
Ingredients
Tomato paste
Stuff you will need
Cut up parchment paper
Scissors
Wide bottomed glass
Freezer
Directions
I am always looking for those tubes of tomato paste that I see in those cooking videos. But this is a better "mouse trap".
Start with a piece of parchment paper. Add 1 Tbsp of tomato paste.
Layer of parchment paper and press down with the wide bottomed glass.
Add another 1 Tbsp of tomato paste and top with parchment paper, flatten.
So on and so on till all the tomato paste is flattened out.
Transfer to the freezer.
Once frozen, transfer to a zip lock bag.
You now got perfectly portioned 1 Tbsp tomato paste.
