I guess the proper vernacular would be Tater Tot Apps.
Why do they do that? Words hurt their mouths...
Ingredients
48 Tater Tots
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bacon Bits
Chives for garnish
Stuff you will need
12 cup muffin pan
Small Spoon
Butter Knife
Directions
Into each of the muffin cups, put 4 Tater Tots.
Bake for 12 minutes at 425 F.
Using your small spoon, crush the Tater Tots into the muffin cups to create a small well.
Into each well, add some shredded cheddar cheese. Let your heart control just how much cheese you put in each well.
Back in the oven. You need to monitor this for your desired doneness. Some folks just want the cheese melted. Some want a "crust" on the melted cheese.
Remove the Tater Tot Apps and transfer to your serving plate.
Top with the bacon bits and chives.
