Oh like I need this like I need another hole in my head... but you know you are going to need this at some point.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp celtic salt
Stuff you will need
Deep sauce pan
Heat resistant spatula
Heat and microwave safe mixing bowl
Canning jar with lid
Directions
In the deep sauce pan, add the sugar. Burner to medium heat.
DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS, ONCE YOU START!!
After 4 to 6 minutes the sugar is going to start to melt. Constantly stir or the sugar is going to burn.
Once the sugar is melted, remove from the heat.
In a microwave safe bowl, add the whipping cream and microwave for 90 seconds.
Pour the hot whipping cream into the hot caramel.
BE AWARE, THIS IS GOING TO BOIL UP!!
Constantly stir and it will stop bubbling. Add the celtic salt and continue to stir.
Let cool about 10 to 15 minutes before transferring to the canning jar.
Will last up to one month. It will thicken in the fridge. But a quick zap in the microwave will get it to a flowing consistency.
