Newfie Slushie

DANGER WILL ROBINSON!! DANGER!!

Ingredients 

7 cups water

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 can frozen concentrate orange juice

1 can frozen concentrate lemon juice 

1 large can pineapple juice

26 oz Iceberg Vodka

Marichino Cherries, garnish

Sprite, 7-Up or Club Soda

 Stuff you will need 

Stock pot

Stiring spoon

Freezer safe containers

Immersion Blender, or just regular old blender, or food processor 

Tall glass

Extra thick straws

Someone to enjoy this with

Directions

In the stock pot, add the water and sugar.  Bring to a boil to dissolve the sugar.

Remove from the heat and let cool a wee bit.

Add the cans of concentrate, pineapple juice + vodka.  Mix well.

Transfer to freezer safe containers.  Put this in the freezer.  More than several hours so that it is frozen.

If your immersion blender can go into the freezer safe container, blend to slushie consistency.

Fill your glass about 3/4 full with the slushie.

Add a few marichino cherries.

Top with clear soda of choice.

Insert big straw and find a cool, shady spot. Get out your Bluetooth speaker and be annoying to your neighbors.

Have someone else make refills.

PRO TIP:

1/2 Vodka, 1/2 Malibu Rum
