Ingredients

For the Pizza Bowl

  • 1 lb (450 g) pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of salt

For the Cheesy Gnocchi

  • 1 lb (450 g) potato gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Pizza Bowl

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Find an oven-safe bowl (metal or ceramic). Flip it upside down and lightly oil the outside.
  3. Roll out your pizza dough into a large circle, big enough to drape over the bowl.
  4. Mix melted butter, garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, Parmesan, and salt. Brush half over the dough.
  5. Place dough over the inverted bowl, pressing lightly so it holds shape.
  6. Bake 12–15 min until golden brown. Remove and carefully lift off the bowl. Brush inside with remaining garlic butter.

2️⃣ Make the Cheesy Gnocchi

  1. Cook gnocchi in salted boiling water until they float (about 2–3 min). Drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 min.
  3. Pour in cream, bring to a gentle simmer, then stir in mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Add gnocchi, toss to coat, and season with salt & pepper.

3️⃣ Assemble & Serve

  1. Place pizza bowl upright on a plate.
  2. Spoon the cheesy gnocchi inside until overflowing.
  3. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
  4. Serve immediately, breaking off pieces of the garlic pizza bowl to scoop up the cheesy gnocchi.

💡 Tip: For a deeper flavor, you can add crispy bacon bits or sautéed mushrooms into the gnocchi before serving.
