Italian Herb Marinade
A zesty blend of fresh basil, thyme, rosemary, garlic, shallot, lemon zest and juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Perfect for bright herb flavor across chicken or other proteins.
Ingredients
½ cup red wine vinegar
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
4 finely minced garlic cloves
1 peeled and small diced shallot
2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons dry oregano
¾ cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Tips for All Marinades
Whisk by hand or use a blender for emulsified results.
Marinate chicken for 2 hours up to 48 hours depending on cut.
