Hurricane Hash

Found this and one of them good old boys was putting this together.  Looks like it would be good cold, as the power would be out.

Thankfully I have a Coleman ๐Ÿ• Camping Stove.  So I could warm up a couple servings just easy as you please.

Ingredients

2 lbs hamburger
1 diced ๐ŸŒฐ onion
3 diced and seeded jalapeรฑo pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Celtic Sea Salt ๐Ÿง‚
1 Tbsp Washyoursister sauce
6 oz can tomato ๐Ÿ… paste
16 oz can tomato ๐Ÿ… sauce
1 cups green beans, substitute carrots ๐Ÿฅ•
1 cup whole kernel corn ๐ŸŒฝ
2 large potatoes ๐Ÿฅ” cubed
1 box chicken ๐Ÿ”  stock
1 Tbsp Frank's Hot ๐Ÿ”ฅ sauce
1 cup elbow ๐Ÿ’ช macaroni
Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese ๐Ÿง€

Stuff you will need

Large porcelain cast iron Dutch oven
Spatula
Meat masher
Cutting board
Sharp knife ๐Ÿ”ช

Directions

Brown and drain the hamburger.  Using the meat masher, it will make cooking the hamburger so much easier.

Add the onions, jalapeรฑo, garlic, black pepper and salt.  Using your spatula, mix it up.

I got a new spatula/spoon/scoop/scraping device.  This would be great here.

Now add the Washyoursister Sauce and tomato paste.  Mix this into the meat mixture and cook for a few minutes.

Add the tomato sauce, green beans, corn, potatoes, hot sauce + chicken stock.  Mix this all up. Put the lid on and simmer for 45 minutes.

Add the pasta, lid back on, simmer for 45 minutes.

Serve while hot.  Garnish with some shredded cheddar cheese ๐Ÿง€

Personally a nice dinner roll with some butter would be a nice side for this.
